Background
Tango choreographer Milena Plebs performed as a dancer with the “Grupo de Danza Contemporánea del Teatro San Martín de Buenos Aires” (Contemporary Dance Group of the San Martín Theatre in Buenos Aires” (1980 -1986) and in “Tango Argentino” - by Claudio Segovia and Héctor Orezzoli- the show that rekindled the presence of tango worldwide (1986 - 1989).
Milena Plebs set up the “Tango x 2 Company” together with Miguel Zotto. They are both responsible for the creation, choreography, production and both star its shows:

Milena has been distinguished with the following awards:
"María Ruanova '91", highest award to Argentine dance.
"Trinidad Guevara '94", won for the choreography in Perfumes de Tango.
"Premio Gino Tanni" (1998), prize to Italian dance.
